NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS ENERGY SURCHARGE JULY
Dear Customer,
We are writing to you, in accordance with our commitment to information transparency acquired last March, in relation to the energy surcharge that the ceramic sector is forced to apply to the sale price of our goods given the volatility of the prices composing our costs. Energy prices, with great weight in our production costs and in the raw materials that are produced with it, continue to be at exceptionally high levels.

Additionally, the price of the rest of the raw materials continues to rise and is strongly influenced by the increase in transport costs.
In short, for the summer we expected a cost scenario that would allow us to move towards a situation of stability. However, the current situation does not allow us to modify the energy surcharge in any way. We will asume, for the time being, the increase in the prices of raw materials. In other words, we maintain the prices and conditions that we gave you at the beginning of the year and we are going to maintain the energy surcharge formula, at least during the months of July, August and September.
So, once June is over, we have calculated the % energy surcharge (based on the TTF average price of the natural gas during the said month) that will be applied to the prices of our products to be loaded during the month of July.
The The June average TTF for the month has been 108,29 €/MWh
Applying the envisaged formula
% Monthly Energy Surcharge = 0.256% x (TTF month average – 70)
The result is:
% Monthly Energy Surcharge = 0,256% x (108,29 – 70) = 9,80 %
We have decided to apply 9 % during the month of Julyassuming part of the increase to facilitate commercial activity and competitiveness.

We will come back to you on this issue next 25th July. However, remember that this surcharge is exceptional and temporary. It will be withdrawn when the situation stabilizes.
