Bioklinker® technology, a technology that prevents growth of bacteria, fungi and yeasts, obtaining an effective product against odor and stains. As the treatment is applied during the manufacturing process, before firing, neither the characteristics nor the tone of the material are altered. The main component of this antibacterial technology is silver, which is a wide-ranging antimicrobial agent and very effective against a wide variety of opportunistic and pathogenic microorganisms (bacteria and fungi) such as E-Coli, Legionella, Salmonella, etc. that cause uncomfortable digestive or immune diseases. TOTAL PROTECTION WITH NO NEED FOR ANY SUBSEQUENT TREATMENT

The applied technology prevents the growth of bacteria, fungus and yeast, while also protecting the tiles from absorbing odours and stains. The treatment is applied during the manufacturing process prior to firing. The composition reacts during the firing of the floor tiles, without altering their characteristics or colour. Its effect is permanent, with no need for any subsequent treatment.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The anti-bacterial treatment ensures a high level of hygiene, thanks to the use of anti-microbial additives based on cutting-edge technology, guaranteeing longlasting surface protection. Highly effective against opportunistic pathogens involved in acquired diseases and/or hospital-acquired infections (such as E. coli or S. aureus).

CERTIFIED EFFICIENCY AGAINST BACTERIA

In accordance with the ISO 22196:2011 standard, our range of porcelain tiles has an R>2 anti-bacterial efficacy, equivalent to a 99% reduction in bacteria. *IMPORTANT: For the floor tiles’ anti-pathogenic properties to remain unaltered, the grouting material that is used must also have the same anti-pathogenic properties.

NON-TOXIC

The applied anti-bacterial treatment is non
toxic since it does not contain TiO2.

EFFICIENT INDOORS AND OUT

Ceramic tiles with anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties by Gres Aragón do not need to be exposed to ultra-violet rays, and so they can be used both indoors and out, in natural or artificial light and in the dark. When the tiles are used outside, their anti-fungal properties prevent the appearance of algae (moss, lichen and fungus).
