GRES ARAGÓN AT THE ‘LOSING ONE’S HEAD’ EXHIBITION AT THE MOLINO HARINERO DE ALCAÑIZ

From March 20 to July 20, 2026, Gres Aragón collaborates in the exhibition ‘Losing One’s Head. Immersion in Irrationality through Goya’s Satire’by the artist Xavier Solé, at the Digital Art Exhibition Space of the Molino Harinero de Alcañiz.

As part of this cultural initiative, Gres Aragón contributes pieces of porcelain stoneware decorated using digital printing, developed in its Alcañiz facilities, which serve as an artistic support for the cryptographies inspired by Goya. This collaboration is part of the company’s commitment, as a member of Grupo SAMCA, to research, innovation and high culture, acting as Ceramic Technology Partner of the exhibition.

Among the highlights of the exhibition:

  • The reinterpretation of Goya’s satirical universe through digital technologies and ceramics, with an immersive and interactive experience for the audience.

  • The possibility for visitors to create their own artwork using artificial intelligence or to experiment with interactive pieces, such as pianos and drums reinterpreted by Solé.

  • The integration of Gres Aragón tiles throughout the exhibition route, showing how ceramics can serve as both an artistic and technological medium.

  • Dialogue between industry, creativity and contemporary art, reinforcing the relationship between technical innovation and cultural expression.

The design and adaptation of the motifs for digital printing is carried out by the head of Gres Aragón’s development department, together with image technicians and production artisans, combining technical expertise and artistic sensitivity.
