Technical training with FILA: solutions for the cleaning, protection and maintenance of surfaces

At Gres Aragón and FAVEKER, we remain committed to technical training and to expanding our knowledge in order to offer the best solutions for our products.

Led by Jordi, Technical Director at FILA Solutions Iberia, we have undertaken a technical training programme specially designed for our team, tailored to the characteristics and specific features of our ceramic solutions.

During the session, we explored the various options for cleaning, protecting and maintaining our materials, with specific recommendations on the most suitable treatments, products and tools for each type of surface and finish.

The training was structured around three key phases:

• Post-installation cleaning: we learnt to identify the different types of dirt and the most common residues left after installation, as well as how to select the appropriate solutions to remove them. Among the products presented, DETERDEK PRO by FILA stood out.
• Surface protection: we learnt about various water-repellent, water- and oil-repellent and anti-slip treatments, analysing their applications and possibilities based on the characteristics of our materials.
• Maintenance: we explored solutions for routine and deep cleaning, as well as specific products for treating stains, encrustations and stubborn residues.

As well as learning about the characteristics of products such as CLEANER PRO, PS87 PRO, CR10, PHZERO, NORUST and PROGRIP, we were able to review application procedures, tools and practical recommendations tailored to our ceramic surfaces.

The bespoke nature of this training has enabled us to gain a deeper understanding of the behaviour and care requirements of our own materials, to better understand their needs and to expand the range of solutions we can recommend for each application.
