GRES ARAGON-FAVEKER OBTAINS "ZERO WASTE" VERIFICATION
GRES ARAGÓN-FAVEKER has recently obtained the 'Zero Waste' verification declaration for all its facilities. Awarded by the company SGS, a leader in inspection, verification, testing and certification, verifies that more than 99.85*% of the waste generated in its production centers is recycled or reused in the production process itself, or by delivery to environmental managers, avoiding landfill disposal. This is a basic principle of the Circular Economy. As a result of applying these principles, the products manufactured by GRES ARAGÓN-FAVEKER are more sustainable and raw materials contain up to 50% recycled content
It is a complete success to get 4 checks out of 5 possible ones, which shows the high degree of consistency of the data and the Environmental Management System. This new certification is part of Gres Aragón's firm commitment to sustainability, as it has an ISO 14001 certified environmental management system since 2005 and an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), certified since 2013.
